Perfect Braces Academy (P.B.A) Privacy Policy

Perfect Braces Academy provides professional dental education through the P.B.A mobile application. This policy explains how the app handles personal information.

Information we handle

• Account information such as name, email address, profile photo, account identifier, and authentication token.
• Course enrolment, lecture progress, certificates, sessions, exams, orders, and notifications associated with the student account.
• Device identifier, device name, operating system, and push-notification token for account security, device limits, and notifications.
• The camera is used only when the student chooses to scan a certificate QR code. The app does not upload or retain camera images.

How information is used
We use this information to authenticate students, deliver enrolled content, preserve learning progress, protect licensed lectures, provide offline viewing, send service notifications, verify certificates, support students, and maintain platform security.

Storage and sharing
Data sent between the app and our services is transmitted over HTTPS. Eligible lectures downloaded for offline viewing are kept in app-private storage, and their content key is protected by the device secure store. We do not sell personal information. Service providers such as Google Firebase may process limited technical data required to deliver push notifications and sign-in services.

Retention and deletion
We keep account and learning records while the account is active and as needed for legitimate educational, security, accounting, or legal purposes. Students can request deletion from the app's Account screen or through our public account-deletion page. After identity verification, we delete or anonymize data that is not required to be retained by law or for legitimate record-keeping.
