Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Farouk Barakat is Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Health at the Faculty of Dentistry, Al-Azhar University (Boys), Cairo, and Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department at Al-Salam University, Tanta.
With decades of academic experience in pediatric dental education, he brings a depth of scientific grounding that few programs can offer. His teaching integrates academic rigor with practical case management — helping trainees build strong diagnostic thinking, sound treatment planning, and the clinical confidence that comes from understanding the "why" behind every clinical decision.
