Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waly

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waly is Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Al-Azhar and Horus Universities, Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department at Al-Azhar University, Assiut Branch, and Pediatric Dentistry Consultant at Cosmodental Center and Marhaba Dental Lounge.

His experience spans both academic teaching and active private clinical practice — a combination that gives his teaching a practical grounding that pure academics often lack. He focuses on developing trainees' clinical thinking and case management skills, with particular emphasis on behavior management, accurate diagnosis, and multidisciplinary pediatric treatment planning.

Through the FPaed Training Program, he connects academic theory with real-world pediatric workflows — helping trainees move from knowing the concept to executing it consistently in the clinic.
